Career path en path of life
My work focuses
on giving opportunities to meet people and to make connexions. Whilst
meeting people I try to be as open and integer as possible and is it my
preference to be direct instead of turning things around. The sharp sides
of me 'playing a rebel' ( I always believed whatever I did, I did it just
for the right purpose :-) are polished by now, but still persistent when I
believe in something or in case I related my name to a desired result.
In
2005, at the 'magical age' of 40, I became independent. After working as a
freelancer for a period, I pursued my own passion of working under my
company name 'Aiming', which consists of acquisition, networking,
searching and placing! The choice for roles in result oriented
environments with the focus on (internal) relationship management is a
result of my own experience and my affinity. My focus on the personality,
with 'Aiming at Personality' is based on conviction.
I was born on
August 23rd in 1964 and grew up as ‘the one in the middle out of three’ in
a family from the south of The Netherlands.After high school and a
Bachelors in Human Resources Management I began work at NCR, an American
ICT company. Here I performed three different professions; five years
Human Resources Management, two years Manager Customer Education &
internal Basic Management School and two years sales / account management
(Retail Banking). The given opportunity to step twice into completely
different professional areas -facilitated by education & training- was an
important source of inspiration in relation to my focus with Aiming.
After
nine years with NCR I worked three years for a consultancy agency
(employability) in a combined role of sales, project management and
consultancy. At my last employment, a consultancy agency (HR), I was
senior consultant and manager search & selection for six years. |
